We discussed about globetrotting and travel during this week. Our group has chosen a beautiful amazing country which is Kashmir, Pakistan. We chose Kashmir because of their breathtaking scenery, unique cuisine and their traditional culture.

Internet of Things (IoT) (week 6)

 During week of six, we manage to discuss about 'Internet of Things (IoT)' which is our group has chosen the service system which is a shopping system. Based on our discussion, the item selected from the website will be popped-out as a notification at the shopping cart status, then the order can be managed. The notification will be received automatically toward us through our official email. After that, when the customer does their payment gateway, email notification will be provided as a record. A social collaboration can be done through all the comments and the review inside the blog. Finally, the reports and data analysis can be go through.

Arts and Culture (week 5)

Congkak Congkak(Congklak) is a mancala game of Malay origin played in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Southern Thailand and also some parts of Sumatra and Borneo. The word congkak was believed originated from the old Malay ‘congak’, gives meaning as mental calculation that was practiced in this game. It is believed that the game originated in Malacca Kingdom where it became very popular and spread to the South East Asia region. This spread was due to the many travelers who visited the kingdom because it was a trading city. In the early days it is thought that this game was for the king and family and the palace residents, however later it spread to the general population of the kingdom. Wau The word ‘Wau’ was derived from the Arabic letter ‘Wau’ as the shape of the wing resemblances to the outline of the particular letter. During the third week, we have done a discussion about happiness. Every group were given a task to build a slideshow and present the list of happiness in their life. The statistic were based on the poll by using the google forms from each group and the questions were spread randomly.

We have chosen Wau as our Art and Culture activity. The word 'Wau' is believed to have been derived from the Arabic letter 'Wau' because the shape of the wing resembles the outline of that particular letter. Many legends and local folklore said that in the past, the farmers used Wau to ward off birds from their paddy fields. Futhermore, the sounds made by the Wau once it was airborne was said to lull their children to sleep which in turn gave the farmers ample time to tend to their crops without distractions.           Wau is one of the traditional games contains elements of authentic Malay culture. We choose to preserve Wau because it is a unique traditional games that is needed to maintain it's originality and traditional culture. Once upon a time, there was a huge fiesta of Art and Culture in The Village of Glamour that were well run by the warriors: Valkyrie and The Preposterous Warriors of The Glamour Village. Valkyrie and Dragonborn Sorcerer - Fly Fire with their own unique Wau, Darth Vader with their special spinning top and The Elf Wizard with their extraordinary flying kites. The festival was full with cheers and jovially celebratory until the wizard - Dark Kucing with Mask warns the warriors of The Glamour Village  that he will come to destroy the festival with help of his spiky warrior from a Porcupine Jungle when the full moon rise during the season.  Valkyrie (The Goddess of Vengeance and Retribution) Valkyrie. An angelic woman of surpassing beauty and fierce hearts. The most prepossessing fighter in a kingdom called The Glamour Village nearby to the river flow of the Great Moonlight Sea. Valkyrie always stand up with a body full cover which is made from interlocking plates of metal, secret javelin, light-pike and a great shield. Valkyrie will ride into battle alongside her territory, fighting fearlessly, until the world perishes and a new one rises from the ashes.  She is known as the most powerful human fighters in The Village of Glamour with all of the strength and ability in using her weapons when she confront with the enemy.The metal and shield used will reduce her damage output and she will remain fight till the end.
